Getting to Rydges Melbourne

  • Rideshare is easily accessible at Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine). Time and cost will vary depending on traffic and time of day.

    1. Request a ride via your rideshare app

    2. Walk towards the designated rideshare pick-up area outside the terminal

    3. You will be directed to your pick-up spot and you must provide your code to the driver when they arrive.

  • For those taking Public Transport - Skybus & walk/taxi/tram from Southern Cross Station

    You can pre-purchase Skybus tickets online ahead of your arrival.

    1. Purchase a ticket for the Skybus Melbourne City Express from the Skybus ticket counter in the terminal.

    2. Once you arrive at Southern Cross Station, you can take a quick taxi or Uber to Rydges or take the 86 or 96 tram from Southern Cross Station to Exhibition Street.

  • Taxi ranks are outside each terminal and will cost around $65-$80 AUD depending on traffic and take 30 - 40 minutes.

  • You can book a private transfer service that will meet you at the airport and drop you off directly at Rydges Melbourne. Prices vary widely.

    Rental car options are available at the airport and driving will take between 30 - 40 minutes depending on traffic.
