Katherine Livingstone is an Associate Professor at the Deakin Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition. A/Prof Livingstone has over 15 years’ experience leading a research program in dietary patterns, cardiometabolic health and personalised nutrition. Positioned in the top 0.06% of global researchers with expertise in diet, her multi-disciplinary expertise spans nutritional epidemiology, behavioural nutrition and web-based dietary interventions.
A/Prof Livingstone has over 11,000 citations and a h-index of 46. She has been Chief Investigator on national and international grants totalling over $2.5 million. She has supervised 5 PhD students to completion and currently supervises 4 PhD students.
A/Prof Livingstone leads the implementation of the precision nutrition pillar for the Australian Academy of Science National Committee for Nutrition. She is a Director with the Australian Nutrition Trust Fund and was previously the Honorary Editor for the Nutrition Society of Australia.
