Adjunct Associate Professor Deanne Minniecon (Goreng Goreng and Erub) has over 30 years’ experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and education. She is the Group Executive, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement at Diabetes Australia and serves on the boards of West Moreton Health Service and the Darling Downs and West Moreton Primary Health Network. Deanne has held senior leadership roles across the government and primary healthcare sectors. She holds a Master of Health Science (Health Promotion) and a Graduate Diploma in Health Promotion.
