ADIPS ASM Grants and Awards

Graz Clock Award

For the best oral presentation overall at the Annual Scientific Meeting presented by an ADIPS member. Must be a financial ADIPS member prior to presenting.  No application required as all eligible presenters will be assessed and considered.
Value 2018: A$600

The Emerging Investigator Award

For the best oral presentation at the Annual Scientific Meeting by an advanced trainee, or a person enrolled for a higher degree (Honours, Masters, PhD, MD, FRACP) or any other presenter who could reasonably be considered “junior” or emerging. i.e. not an established investigator. Must be a financial member of ADIPS prior to closing date for applications. In addition to submitting the abstract, applicant should email a brief CV and a supporting letter from his/her supervisor as attachments to the ADIPS Secretariat to sneylon@adips.org by 29 June 2018. The recipient can also receive a travel grant. If this person wins the Graz Clock award, the Emerging Investigator award is given to the next best emerging investigator. Prior winners are ineligible for this award.

Allied Health Presentation Award

For the best oral presentation given at the Annual Scientific Meeting by an allied health professional. Must be a financial member of ADIPS prior to closing date for applications. In addition to submitting the abstract, applicant should email a brief CV and a supporting letter from his/her supervisor as attachments to the ADIPS Secretariat to sneylon@adips.org by 29 June 2018.
Value 2018: A$500

Outstanding Poster Award

For the best poster presentation given at the Annual Scientific Meeting. Must be a financial member of ADIPS prior to the closing date for applications. In addition to submitting the abstract, applicant should email a brief CV and a supporting letter from his/her supervisor as attachments to the ADIPS Secretariat to sneylon@adips.org by 29 June 2018.
Value 2018: A$500

Travel Grants

A number of Travel Grants (up to five) will be awarded to emerging investigators who have an abstract accepted for presentation at the Annual Scientific Meeting of ADIPS. The number and size of grants will be determined according to the number and suitability of applications and the funds available. Must be a financial member of ADIPS prior to closing date for applications. Applicant must be an advanced trainee or a person enrolled for a higher degree or a junior as described above (Honours, Masters, PhD, MD, FRACP). In addition to submitting the abstract, the applicant should email a brief CV and a supporting letter from his/her supervisor as attachments to the ADIPS Secretariat to sneylon@adips.org by 29 June 2018. Applications will be prioritised using abstract review scores.
Value 2018: A$500 each grant.
